Gateway Connections
Gateway Connections - what is it?
A direct connection to the mpulse infrastructure enables clients to send and receive SMS and MMS messages via Luxembourg and international (currently Belgian, French, German, United Kingdom and Switzerland) mobile networks.
Setting up a connection is quick and easy: all it takes is an internet connection and an implementation of the one of the mpulse's protocols on the client's side, so that his application or server is able to connect to the mpulse platform for sending messages and to receive them via HTTP post.
The mroute Platform is operational since July 2004, and started with direct connections to Luxembourg mobile operators. It has high debit and reliable connections to SMS-Cs, is monitored 24/7 and connected to the internet by multiple backbone links.
In addition to sending and receiving SMS and MMS messages, clients use mroute to process SMS payments via Premium Short Codes.
