Mercedes-Benz Luxembourg uses Contacts to inform their customers once their car is available and can be pickud up at the garage.
Every Mercedes staff member has his/her own Contacts account, which enables Mercedes to process internal control and billing easily.
Usually, phone calls are the preferred method to get in touch with customers in this area. But SMS messages offer an interesting alternative to phone calls and offer the following advantages:
- They are less disturbing and hence a very good solution for sending notifications that are not rated critical
- Message reports indicate the status of the message: whether – and when – it has been delivered
- Writing SMS messages with mroute is even quicker and easier than writing an e-mail message
