Why do I end-up in the Contacts account creation form when I try to create a mail2SMS prepaid account?
Because it’s the same online tool for both products. And the price is the same too!
So don’t worry: fill-out the Contacts product form; all mail2SMS features will be available when you finalize the process.
How do I create a “Group”? (one email triggers an SMS to several mobile phones)
In 3 easy steps:
- Create a Group
Login into the online interface, and in the menu click on “mail2SMS”, “Recipients groups". - Select “Create new list”, and describe the group (example: sales@contact.lu). Enter mobile phone numbers. In order to do so, click on the list (i.e. sales@contact.lu in our example).
- Send an email
When you send an email to sales@contacts.lu, an SMS will be sent to all the mobile phones in this Group! Don’t forget to enter your password in the subject of the email, and the text in the content of the email.
Which countries can I send messages to?
Anywhere in the world. If you cannot reach a certain destination, please ensure that:
- The mobile phone you are trying to reach is on
- The inbox of the mobile is not full
- The mobile is in an area that has network coverage
- The mobile number is valid
If Contacts does not deliver your SMS after the above checks, please send us a message via our webform specifying your Contacts login and mobile number you are trying to reach.
Can I import my existing contact database to create a Group?
